Established in 2002, the Carolina Women’s Leadership Council is a network of alumnae, parents and friends who are committed to supporting the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and mentoring future generations of women philanthropists and volunteers.

In December of 2022, Carolina completed its most ambitious fundraising drive ever – the Campaign for Carolina — by raising more than $5 billion, including more than $1 billion for scholarships and fellowships. The Carolina Women’s Leadership Council has an integral role in helping Carolina continue to reach its goals and fulfill its mission. We have an amazing opportunity to make real and significant impact by championing Carolina both here and in our communities.

As we consider the myriad ways the council and its members have contributed to Carolina’s excellence, we are reminded of the countless ways Carolina has contributed to our lives as well as those of the people in our state, across the nation and around the world.

Our investment in talented students, world-class faculty, pioneering research, transformative arts, academic excellence and an unrivaled campus environment makes Carolina second to none. We’re thrilled about the possibilities, and we hope you’ll join us in our mission!
